'100 % Love' which is a joint production of Shree Venkatesh Films and Grassroots Entertainment Pvt Ltd, Jeet’s first home production is an absolute disappointment not because of the performances, but because of the script which is quite bad.
The love story of Rahul and Anuradha takes off an interesting note where initially it is one sided. It is also not realistic as Rahul who is a worthless guy manages to get a job in an I.T company after clearing 3 rounds without knowing a line of English where Anuradha is the project manager and his superior. The advertisement in the paper itself is faulty. Okay, the latter part.Rahul is besotted with Anuradha and even helps to keep Anuradha’s job. One day Rahul even tells her that he loves her, but her marriage is already fixed with a guy and his family had only brought her up.Rahul is devastated. His father turns up unexpected at their office to meet Anuradha, but is insulted by her.Rahul also turns up there. His father passes away after suffering a massive heart attack in the night. A close friend, Abhi takes him to his village as his marriage is around the corner, but before they leave, Rahul discovers that Anuradha is about to get married to Abhi.Anuradha feels guilty. At Abhi’s house Rahul becomes a member of the house and the fact remains hidden tills the very end and when it is discovered, he is asked to go away. However when he is stabbed by a goon, everyone rushes to help him except Abhi’s grandfather and Anuradha but they go to the hospital later. Though he has been stabbed, he gets up miraculously and comes outside the room to see everyone present! He also gets married to Anuradha.
The script makes this film go bad as a few things are just not realistic though the performances have been upto the mark and Supriyo Dutta as Rahul’s father is excellent. Just like we had seen him play a goon in Jeet’s ‘Shatru’ where he was excellent, over here he plays a role which is miles apart from his last big role and this shows how versatile he is.Jeet and Koel both get to shed tears in this film and specially Jeet has to show his softer side so it might not jell with his fans. The music is also very disappointing. Not one song is worth remembering and as usual a couple of songs have been shot abroad.
When a film has a name called 100% Love, you expect it to be a rocking love story, but it turns out to be a big ‘rona dhona’ affair which doesn’t jell.
