Cutting it short - i quite liked the movie. Didnt feel anything interesting about the first half, tho it was good in some parts, but it was somewhat slow. The second half was totally gripping. The best thing about the first half was the Intermission point. That is from where the movie picks up.
This movie is a tale of twists, and the last time we saw it happening was in Race (2008) . As for those typical entertainer lovers, i dont think many of them would like the movie. Its a different attempt from usual stuff. This is not just about the twists, but also a murder mystery, which is quite fascinating. I somewhat got the hint of who's the murderer when Sharmila Tagore receives phone call from Akki and it turned right. The climax was almost good, but it actually ends up quite stretched, otherwise its totally superb. Also, the reasons given by the murderer are quite lame. That dont sum up for such a murder mystery story.
The script was quite weak at some places but even that is handled quite nicely by Nagesh.
As for performances, Akki wasnt as good as he has been in his past few films but still does a fine job. Ayesha was good, while Javed Jafferi is ok.
Nazara Hai is simply perfect for the opening song as it creates a certain atmosphere for the movie. Kuchh is Tarah is good too and well placed.
Salim-Suleiman are really the big guns of BGM. They rock it in this one too.
Also, good job by Nagesh, not to put every song in the movie. Put only those ones required. I always prefer the idea of having songs for an album, but using only those which suit well in the situation.
Fav scenes:
Nazara Hai Intro song
Akki jumping off the cliff
Sharmila Tagore receiving phone call from Akki on her cell
All the twists.
When Akki says to Javed while he is being handcuffed "Sally ko dobara dhoka mat dena" and then Javed's reaction.
The climax of course, leaving out some parts in the very end
