"Too Much of Everything is Bad"
This perhaps is the line best suited for Nagesh Kukunoor's latest flick. Am an abss lover of the kinds of films that he makes ..from Hyderabad Blues to Teen Deewaarein to more recent ones like DOR or an IQBAL. Thus, i had set high expectations bfr i went out to watch 8 X 10 Tasveer in the theater. More so... as am an avid lover of sci-fi ones to suspense thrillers! The film had started out on a good note with a tight suspense packed storyline with the protagonist having this unique power to see/ visualize the past looking into 8 by 10 ... » read more

    Thrill X Mystery

Thrillers and Mystery have been an interesting genre for films all over the world. If you add some supernatural powers in this genre it makes it more interesting. But along with this you need to justify the events happening on the big screen. If you succeed in that then you have a winner or else a great opportunity lost. Let’s check out what lies in future of 8x10 Tasveer ?

“8x10 Tasveer” is story of Jai [Akshay Kumar] a Forest officer in Canada who has some supernatural powers where he can see the past by watching the photographs of ... » read more

I like the movie. It's a good suspense thriller. 2nd half is quite fast & intense.
After trying his skills in comedy, the Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar returns with what he has been known for years – action and daredevil stunts.I think this is a good move of Akshay as audience must have been tired to see him as a nonsense comedian !
Ayesha Takia is as bad as in her previous film De Taali or something else.
Nagesh Kukunoor's direction is good. The basic idea of visualizing through photographs was interesting.(He is the writer also.) though I don't think ... » read more

Good suspense film but not very good film watch. Nagesh Kukunoor had done a remarkable direction here. Story was something common. Akshay Kumar is a person who can see the past of the other person by just watching a photograph of his/her. Now his father met with an accident and dies but he somewhat feels like he has been killed. Now to solve this mystery he uses his secret on thier business partners. And in that to help him one strange charater pops out 'Habibulla Pasha' urf Javed Jaffery. Watch the brialliant performance performed by him. Watch the great stunts played ... » read more

Tasveer is agood movie for one time watch. All i can describe this movie in few words is just a good suspense thriller kind of film. Akshay Kumar's daring stunts is worth watching. Ayesha Takia Azmi is cute and adorable but still had to improve a lot. Liked the role she was given into. Lovely to see Sharmila Tagore, Girish Karnad and Anant Mahadevan back on screen. Javed Jaffery's funniest character and the way he performed his character was indeed remarkulous. Though as part as the screenplay concerned, i felt little bit of stretchy and i guess is it was improved a bit ... » read more

Total waste!!! The film is but obvious good but can be 100 times better than this. A good suspense opened on the climax scene but impact didnt came. What i mean is....something like shocking..Ahaa this was the suspense...that was not there in the film. Ayesha Takia Nazmi has shown to be a negative character and as per the screenplay it has been revealed when the climax scene came but after the mid half only public came to knew that Ayesha might be the killer or she might be involved in crime. So when actually she has been disclosed half of the audience were saying arey ... » read more

Jai (Akshay Kumar) has this supernatural power where he can enter any photograph and into the minds of people in that photograph. However, he faces loss of life if he cannot come back within a minute after entering the photograph. After his father's apparent heart attack, and the introduction of Javed Jaffrey, a detective, Jai tries to find out what exactly happened that led to his father's death.

It's a nice watch, at times. However, Nagesh Kukunoor has made better films. This film lacks the tightness of a thriller and the ending is rather cliched. Not recommended ... » read more

Cutting it short - i quite liked the movie. Didnt feel anything interesting about the first half, tho it was good in some parts, but it was somewhat slow. The second half was totally gripping. The best thing about the first half was the Intermission point. That is from where the movie picks up.

This movie is a tale of twists, and the last time we saw it happening was in Race (2008) . As for those typical entertainer lovers, i dont think many of them would like the movie. Its a different attempt from usual stuff. This is not just about the twists, but also a murder ... » read more
