    # The film often reminded of Black Friday, esp. in the way it approached crowd scenes in real locations of Mumbai.
    # Concept is novel, thought-provoking, and makes you brood about the end of the story long after the reels have run out.
    # The way the director captured various faces to give the audience a general feel of the Protagonist's ambience was fascinating.

I liked the way the story depicts something very realistic, and ended the movie in a semi-realistic a way. It is hard to find a common man today like Amir who will end his own life to save 100s. But indeed people like Amir is available.

Aamir means “leader” and this takes on significance as Amir proclaims that he is not a leader, not a hero, but an ordinary man who wants to live his life. But the end tells us that Aamir is no ordinary man…that he is indeed a hero.

Amir Ali is played by Rajeev Khandelwal. The film, which tells of the happenings of just one day…The director wastes no time in getting on with the story. As soon as Aamir steps out ... » read more

“Reality Bites” In 80’s era we had witnessed the evolution of realistic cinema. New directors, New actors, New Theme, Realistic setups, etc. slowly as the era ended these types of movies started to fade out. They were made but in small quantity. Last few years we started witnessing the growth in such type of movies with touch of today’s era. These movies are now termed as multiplex cinemas. Movies made for, made by and viewed by intelligent and matured cinema lovers. “Aamir” add to these type of cinema but with its own and different mark. ‘Aamir’ is story of Dr.Aamir ... » read more
