Aankhen synopsis (Story)
After a honest bank manager Vijay Singh Rajput is sacked by the company, he decides to take revenge. He hires three blind men Vishwas Prajapati (Akshay Kumar), Arjun Verma (Arjun Rampal) and Ilias (Paresh Rawal) to rob the bank itself. He hires blind men and trains them so that nobody doubts them.

A highly commendable debut from Vipul Shah, based on a Gujarati play, this film surprised everybody with the power of the screenplay and with Amitabh Bachchan playing an out-and out negative role.

The film had two endings: The makers felt the Indian audience will not fathom Amitabh Bachchan's character not getting justice. Hence the ending for the Indian audience had Amitabh repenting and being locked away by the police, the moralistic ending. The overseas ending shows Amitabh bribing the police and on the loose chasing Akshay Kumar and Arjun Rampal.By Naved
