    Not another fairytale…

This film was expected to be a flop, but unless there was no other decent Hindi film released this week, so the hopes were just little bit from this film. But It happened as expect the expected and not as expect the unexpected.

Story and screenplay wise the film might have gone under wishy fishy, but as far as the performances, they all atleast got 3stars on an average.

Aftab pitches in a sincere performance. He just adds lively moments in the film playing an adult who’s literally a child at heart. He looked and understands ... » read more

Aao Wish Karein (AWK) is a film for kidults. Problem with children's film in India is...kids in India are all grown up these days. But kudos to Aftab for making a film of this genre.

I was thinking, how many times I have wondered as a kid, how it would have been to live a grown-up's life. Most importantly, no studies, can do what I want to do, and yes...may be the pretty girl in the neighbourhood can be my girlfriend...that is...only, if she would stop treating me as a kid. Come on, I can be a man, what if she is a few years older!

Mickey in AWK is just ... » read more

Thank god for a simple and sweet movie.

Not trying to preach you anything big, not having a huge moral, or a huge budget, or super stars trying to look super cool, thank god for all that.

The first thing you'd notice about Aao Wish Karien is, that it is an amazingly sweet movie, which makes you laugh and cry and certain points, and I can't wait to say this, I think Aftab has arrived. The performance of Aaftab was so nuanced and well balanced, a grown up with a heart and mind of kid, it reminded me of Hrithik's performance in Krissh, only there was no ... » read more

Aao Wish Karien – Ki log kuch dhang ki films mein invest karein…

Debutante Aftab as Writer & Producer and Debutante Glenn Baretto as a Director both failed in delivering their first film.
What were the plus points and minus points to start this film:

    Plus Points:
    1. Aftab was a producer cum writer of this film. He started his career since from 1987 as a child artist and from since 1999 as a full-fledged professional artist. So it’s almost 10yrs and there’s nothing new to Aftab in this Industry. He can produce a good film and can write a good ... » read more

    …Barah Ko Ikkees Karein

A not-so-fair fairy tale based on the universal infatuation phenomenon between a grown up kid and an adult. Making such kid flick in not “bachchon ka khel”…

Twelve years old Mickey fancies a grown up Mitika (Aamna Shariff), but can’t do anything as he is just a small kid. Moreover he has problems at home; being an adopted child he feels he gets a cold shoulder from his parents (Yatin Karyekar and Rati Agnihotri). A local friend Hitchcock (Johnny Lever, who appears to be a hybrid of JBJ’s Big B and “Bhoot Unkel’s” Jackie Shroff) ... » read more

A good film highly inspired from a Tom Hanks Film Big. But no problem today every one is inspired (another word for copy) from English Movies. The lead pair aftab and his real life sweet heart looks good on the screen. The film could have been really better if teh child who grows up do something for the country which he could not possible to have done it when he was small. From the very beginning our children should be able to know that before anything the love for motherland comes. Direction is okay, shimla looks beautiful. songs are good, when we are small we ask ourselves ... » read more
