Aashiqui 2 music review: Outlook - More than 20 years ago Nadeem-shravan gave bollywood one of the most romantic yet eminent soundtracks of lifetime. Each and every song of heroic album is remembered and cherished with lot of grace. After two decades, Mukesh Bhatt and team once again prevails the idea and comes up with a sequel of the Musical Winner Aashiqui. Aashiqui 2 promises the same feat with loads of expectations. Highly Tallented composers 'Jeet Ganguly' who has shown his class in many albums like 'Raaz 3', 'Blood Money' etc relishes a big opportunity along superbely versatile talent 'Mithoon'. Guest Composer Ankit Tiwari has also composed one song for the album. So,with lot of excitement lets discover the glory of this amatory album Aashiqui 2 - (one of the most anticipated albums of 2013) offers feast for its melancholic listeners ---

      TRACK 1 -'Tum Hi Ho'
      SINGER - Arjit Singh

Outrageous! The first reaction when we hear this song. Special mention for 'Arjit Singh' - 'Tum Hi Ho' results a big-break for this passionate singer. Already a winner in songs like -'Jab Bna uska hi Bna' , 'Phir Le aaya' , 'Raabata' etc, we were almost expecting a masterpiece from his heavenly voice. 'Tum Hi ho' is a Magical Journey of two lovers. One can feel the intense love and craze in Arjit's vocals. Beautifully rendered with lovesome piano that always supports arjit's voice. Smooth tempo and light drum flicks are amazing. Just keeps you hooked up till the very last minute. Beautiful Lyrics too! All in all , a great combination of singer, lyrics and music. Already a Chartbuster, Melodious, sweet sounding and Touchy! one of the huge accomplishments of Mithoon's carrer. A song you must definitely add to your Playlist.
Lose yourself in 'Tum Hi Ho'.

      TRACK 2- 'Sunn raha Hai'
      SINGER - Ankit Tiwary

Aashiqui 2 continues its addictive legacy with 'Sunn Raha Hai'. Ankit Tiwary composes this only song of the album and yet delivers a brilliant track. More of a Rock type, the high-pitch singing generates lot of ardent vocals. Energetic electric guitar and heavy beats arrangements are quite staggering. After few listens, the song grows on you. Topnotch lyrics builds the emotions making another elegant run. Superbly Superb!

There is one more verson of 'Sunn Raha Hai' sung by melody Queen Shreya Ghoshal. Ankit Tiwary has used more of indian classical arrangements that renders the song with innocent appeal.

TRACK 3 - 'Piya Aaye Na'
      SINGER - K. K & Tulsi Kumar

Equally Mesmerising like the previous tracks,'Piya Aaye na' promises another quality work. Fresh and composed in a adorable manner. More like a band song, the cumulative guitar riffs and chamber orchestra yet justifies the hard work of composer- Astounding. Its another musical treat for all KK lovers. The way he commences each new song justifies his versatility. Amazingly Sung! Recalling the old saga of lyrics, each second exhibits hope and heart-break. 'Piya Aaye Na' is simply an exquisite fare.

      TRACK 4 - 'Meri Aashiqui'
SINGERS - Shreya Ghoshal and Arjit Singh

'Meri Aashiqui' is extension song of 'Tum Hi ho'. Well its another beautifully manged track. Surely will play its part in the movie. Actually Sherya's sweet vocals completes the whole scenerio. Arjit
is similarly contented with his fanatic singing terms. Both sound nice together. Promises another confident and lovesome composition for its listeners.

      TRACK 5 - 'Bhula Dena'
      SINGER - Mustafa Zahid

After the tremendous succes of 'Hum jee lenge', Mustafa zahid is back with a bang. The second best song of the album. The climax song proves out to be a true winner. Zahid's splendid and cantabile vocals touches our heart deeply. Its groovy and with elated rock beats paced well with electric guitar and drums. Well the shayari trending lyrics by Sanjay Masoom are captivating and tells us the sepration story of the protagonist. [Great Melancholic Track]. Dont Miss this one.

''Bhula Dena MUjhe Hai Alvida Tujhe,Tujhe Jeena Hai Mere Bina. . . . "

      TRACK 6 - 'Aasan Nahi'
      SINGER - Arjit Singh

Well the album seems going in a perfect direction . This is a true 'Aashiqui' song. One should definitely listen to this song. Accurate lyrics explaining the true meaning of Aashiqui. Rendered again by Arjit singh.
What works for him is the feel of longing in his voice which clicks through a track. Music adds on wisely to catch the emotions well and bring on the right shade. It would make an impact with the listener due to an intrinsic heartsick sincerity and pattern.

TRACK 7 - 'Hum Mar Jayenge'
SINGER - Arjit Singh & Tulsi Kumar

The only different song of the album as far genre is concerned. More of a joyous track incorporating the flavour of 90's. Tulsi kumar and Arjit Singh both manages to whip the romantic mood in their inimitable styles. Retaining the old taste, Jeet composesa blithe song. The arrangements are pretty nice thanks to some melodious flute and classical arrangements setting up
a lovely mood and recalling the existence of such genres! [VERY NICE]

TRACK 8 - 'Chahun Main Yan'
SINGER - Arjit Singh and Palak Mucchal

It's time for another sweet fare to make an everlasting dent with a mellifluously divine soundtrack in case of 'Chahun Main Yan Na'. Arjit makes another cogent style statement in his smooth vocals that speaks about the love and passion in its serene cum soft wordings that contrasts well with shreya's . Irshad Kamil's impulsively consuming lyrical working composition picks up well on senses. Jeet Ganguly has another winner upon his belt that intends out the armatory feel with impressive flow of prettifying orchestrations.

TRACK 9 - 'Milne Hai Mujhse Aayi'
      SINGER - Arjit Singh

The final song of the album educes another well executed song by Jeet. Geeting on the higer point jeet includes heavy metal and acid rock taste. Arjit once again stands tall to this challenging track. Simple lyrics endeavouring the journey of the lead is truly majestic. Slightly enhanced rhythm and as another superb Song!

Overall - As they say ," Great Things are worth a wait" and the bollywood industry waited for over two decades to get another masterpiece of the sequel like 'Aashiqui'. 'Aashiqui 2' has the richness of a block-buster album as a whole. Both the lyricist- Irshad Kamil and Sanjay Masoom deserves cookie points for some superb lyrics that will be identifiable by the it's target audience, the youth. Surely a Massy Album
and Surely Irresistible. No song will disappoint you at all. Its a MUST-BUY for all music lovers. A grand package and a bestow of honour for all composers. Every Song sounds awe-inspiring 'Aashiqui 2' has what it takes to be a 'Master-Piece'. Sounds perfect story of a passionate lover.

      Ratings - 5/5.
