A different and hard hitting film from the RGV camp. The story is inspired by the real life story of the police inspector Daya Nayak.
Nana Patekar plays the central character here of an encounter specialist cop.
This film is set in Mumbai and centres around the crime branch of the police force, set up to extradicate the ever increasing organised crime from the city.
Sadhu Agashe (Nana Patekar) leads an exclusive team of encounter cops. He is also a family man, from a middle class background, he lives with his wife and young son. During the course of his career, he develops a relationship with one of India's most wanted criminals, Don Zameer Zafar.
On the hand, it is seen that there is some amount of politics within the Crime Branch with Imtiyaz Sidiqui wanting Sadhu Agashe's post for himself. Things further deteriorate when a new commissioner is appointed, who favours Imityaz Siddiqui. This leads to further strife.
Sadhu Agahse, thereafter is falsely accused of a crime of which he is innocent, and he needs to now run from the law himself. Watch the film to know what happens further.
