Tanmay Chatterjee is a young handsome man from a good family and with a good job. One day he got a call from Minu who was in need of money because her mother was ill. Minu had actually called a certain Bishuda for the money but Tanmay had been the recipient of the call. Tanmay went to the hospital and gave the money to Minu saying that Bishuda had sent the money. This was their first meeting. As time passed, they fell in love with each other and decided to marry. But Tanmay's parents did not give their consent because they disapproved of Minu's dancing career. Unfortunately Minu's mother expired. Minu met with an accident and the doctor informed Minu that dancing would be dangerous for her. After this Minu and Tanmay were free to marry each other and live a happy normal life. Before the birthday of their only son Tanmay lost his right leg in an accident. Then he left the job and Minu took over. Tanmay's parents offered money for his treatment but he refused. Minu decided to perform a stage show to acquire the money but she hid this from Tanmay. Tanmay suspected Minu and Bishuda of an illicit relationship. Minu performed on the stage but did not face any danger. She also succeeded in arranging the money for Tanmay's treatment. At the end of the film Tanmay and his parents realise their mistakes and decide to live together in happiness.
