Ananya gets married and moves to a new place. Her husband tells her that they need to rediscover each other. The next day her husband takes her to her office as she doesn’t know this part of town so well. The author Taslima Nasreen is in town and hence riots have broken out and curfew is imposed. She goes to the place where her husband had asked her to wait, but he fails to turn up. A stranger gives her refuge in her garage and she is unable to return home at night. Why does the stranger give her refuge? Does he have something else in her mind? Meanwhile her menstruation starts which she is unable to tell the stranger. Somehow the night is spent and she returns home the following morning only to discover that her family members including her husband don’t even acknowledge her and look down upon her as if she has betrayed them and she is a fallen woman. She just writes one thing on a paper-how would they have reacted if a daughter from that family or her husband wouldn’t have come at night and returned home the next day?
