Ahindra Chowdury is a legendary figure of Bengali theatre and cinema.
Ahindra Chowdhury was born on 6th August, 1896. He did his initial schooling from Chakraberia Sishu Vidyalaya and later joined London Missionary, Kolkata and continued his studies till 1911.
In 1921, he collaborated with his friend Prafulla Ghosh and established “Photo Play Syndicate.” He directed a motionless picture “ Soul of a slave” over there.
