Arshad Warsi was born on April 19, 1968. He was orphaned at the age of 14, and had to struggle real hard to make his ends meet in Bombay. Arshad had always had a liking for dancing, and joined a small-time dance group to earn some money. At the age of 21, Arshad won a dancing competition. With that money, Arshad decided to start his own dancing group. Later, He associated with the English theatre Group in Bombay. This made him keener about working in Hindi films.
Arshad Warsi made his debut with ABCL’s Tere Mere Sapne (1996). Co-starring with Chandrachur Singh, Priya Gill and Simran, Arshad Warsi left his own mark. Tere Mere Sapne proved to be a sleeper hit, and Arshad Warsi was touted as the next Govinda in the making.
