Dimple Kapadia is a Bollywood actress born on June 8, 1957 in India. She was born in a Gujarati speaking family to Chunnibhai & Betty Kapadia. Her father was a businessman. She did her schooling in Mumbai but did not continue with her studies after that.
She was introduced to filmdom by Raj Kapoor who was looking for a fresh face to be cast opposite his son Rishi Kapoor for his debut movie Bobby. Dimple was just 16 then. The film was a huge hit and she alongwith Rishi became the nation’s latest heartthrob. However, soon after Bobby released, she got married to the then superstar Rajesh Khanna and quit acting to look after her family.
