Durga Khote biography

Durga Khote (14 Jan 1905 - 22 Sep 1991) the famous Bollywood actress (also active in Marathi cinema), acted in over 100 movies. Born in Mumbai, she became a widowed at the age of 26. She received (among others) the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the lifetime recognition award for films. Gomolo commemorates the death anniversary of this legend of Hindi movies.
