Farah Khan Kunder was born on Sunday, 8th October, 1965 and is an Indian film director and choreographer. She is currently married to Shrish Kunder. Her mother Menaka is the sister to Honey and Daisy Irani, former child stars. father Kamran Khan. She has one brother Sajid Khan, who is a comedian and film director. Farah was a bright kid in school and would strive hard to top the class as only then would she be rewarded with a film ticket. Ever since her childhood days, Farah had a flair for dancing and would entertain family and friends by performing on old numbers. This paid off as she soon opened her own dance school while studying in St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai.

Farah Khan’s career as a choreographer commenced with "Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander” accidentally, it so happened that Saroj Khan the original choreographer could not make it for the Ooty outdoor so Farah Khan who was assisting Mansoor Khan then was entrusted the job of choreographing the song “Pehla Nasha”, rest as it is said is history the song became a rage and the choreography became a trendsetter for Bollywood; the whole song was shot in slow motion.By Shiraj Dakshy
