Trained at the New York Film Academy, St. Martin’s College of Arts, London and at Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods Film Institute, Gitanjali is passionate about making meaningful cinema.
Weaned on a diet of classic films like Birth of a Nation, Intolerance, Destiny, The Bicycle Thief, Rashomon, Casablanca, Schindler’s List and many others, she decided very early on in her life to write, produce and direct movies that have a strong human element and pathos.
