Johhny Lever born as Janardhan Rao on 14th August 1956 Amkam village in the Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh. He started off as a comedian at school level.
He started to copy his teachers in his village school, his father and also his grandfather. He could not study much and dropped out of school when he was in the seventh standard.

Sunil Dutt saw him perform at a charity show which was organized by Kalyanji-Anandji, and he was quiet impressed by his performance and got him his first break in Dard Ka Rishta.
He mimics many people, and has got a very unique style of his own. He is married to Sujatha and they have two children Ishak and Jesse. He was also seen judging a comedy show on television named Comedy Circus.By Naved» read full biography

johny in the late 80's used to do lot of musical nights and orchestra for kalyanji-annadji and johny lever nite which was developed in audio formats which used to show johny showcasing every cast of people in Mumbai be it Gujurati ,sindhi etc and that would sell like hot cakes in the MarketBy mithun shetty

Johny used to work in a company located in Mumbai called "Hindustan Lever". He was very popular in his organisation due to his unique style of mimicking the various Bollywood Actors.
