Ramesh Talwar is one of the Bollywood directors who couldn’t make it really big in the film industry. He directed a few movies, none of which did so well. He also assisted direction in a few movies, most of which were big hits.
Talwar’s directorial debut was in Doosra Aadmi (1977) starring Rishi Kapoor, Rakhee and Neetu Singh. The movie was critically acclaimed with some award-winning performances. Talwar’s second film was Baseraa (1981) starring Shashi Kapoor, Rakhee and Rekha. It was a good movie with strong performances.
