Sunidhi Chauhan biography

Sunidhi Chauhan was born on 14th August 1983. Her father, Dushyant Chauhan, was the first one to spot her talent and he moved to Mumbai with his entire family to develop her talent. They moved to the city of dreams and into music director Kalyanji 'bhai's Little Wonders troupe, in which she was the lead singer.

Sunidhi won the title in the TV show Meri Aawaz Suno in 1996. The prize for the winner was to cut an album with HMV and Sunidhi recorded Aira Gaira Nathu Khaira with the music company. However, this was promoted as a kid’s album. Although her first break in a Hindi film was in the film Shastra, her breakthrough movie was Ram Gopal Verma's Mast.
