Too many flaws, but still a must watch!
Wrong turn, Wrong turn part 2, Texas Chainsaw, Texas Chainsaw the Beginning, Hill Haves Eyes Part 1 – Part 2, etc. and in Hindi Movies, Kaal and recently Agyaat.
In all these movies, the plots are almost same but something or the other is different. One difference I would like tell you is that ki; in this movie the murderer was Agyaat i.e. unknown, and in others the Agyaat was Gyaat.
For the first time in my life and for the first time in the History of Ram Gopal Verma’s Career, one person would like to say him personally that I felt that the movie completed very fast. I still can’t believe that how the 2hrs completed so fast. I wish there would be more horror, more thrill and more excitement. Though it was the first attempt by Ramu, but indeed a good attempt I must say.
But also the fact is that the initial 30mins of the film was totally bullshit, totally means the totally. What kind of story is going, what kind of music is playing behind the shots, what crap performances, useless item songs, unnecessary exposure by Nisha Kothari, and etc and etc. But when one man died from their group, who was actually the caretaker of the Jungle, from then onwards, what pick up the story has taken, very much impressive, interesting and thrilling.
Technically and the performance wise the film will not sound good, but I believe this would be the first ever film where at least 1% can be comparable with Hollywood for such kinds of movies. Again, a good attempt I must say.
At the end, Ramu declared the second version of its film Agyaat to Agyaat Part 2. Same and repeatedly, For the first time in my life and for the first time in the History of Ram Gopal Verma’s Career, one person would like to say him personally that I am desperately waiting for its Agyaat Part 2, next time I expect some better technicality and better performances.
I would rate: 3 for the film and 0.5 for the attempt.
