Both bombed at the box-office, Akshay Kumar was noticed for his Greek God looks and got many offers. He shot to fame with Abbas-Mustan’s Khiladi (1992), a thriller. Akshay’s action scenes in the climax were hugely appreciated, and Akshay Kumar became the first choice for action films. 1994 was a major year for Akshay. His Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Yeh Dillagi, Suhaag and Mohra were all hits of the year. With the success of Khiladi and Main Khiladi Tu Anadi, Khiladi became his middle name.
