Hemant Rastogi (Yatin Karyekar) is a lonely widower, who lives in Mahabaleshwar. One day, He has a heart-attack and passes away. When the Police searches his residence, they are shell-shocked to find a young man in the basement of Hemant's residence. He is none other than Hemant's son Tejas (Akshay Kapoor). Hemant never let him come out and face the real world. He taught him everything through books instead. Now, Tejas is admitted in P.R. Institute which rehabilitates young men who have entered the world of crime. His care taker is Purva Rana (Dia Mirza). At first, Tejas proves to be a misfit in the organisation but slowly, Purva noticed his hidden powers. Tejas too realises that he is different from others, and has much more mental competency. However, Tejas's powers are noticed by Dr. Dyer (Tom Alter) and when Purva refuses him to carry any experiments on Tejas, he kidnaps Tejas to make some use of him. Will Tejas use his own powers to come out of Dr. Dyer's control? Or will he remain hidden in that shell he always has been?
