Amrita Arora was born on January 31, 1981. Towards the end of her teenage, Amrita started getting offers to do music videos and advertisments. After completing her college, she became a MTV VJ and hosted shows like MTV Housefull and MTV Chill Out.
Amrita Arora’s first film was Mehul Kumar’s Kitne Door Kitne Paas (2002). Unfortunately, Kitne Door Kitne Paas bombed at the box-office. Later that year, Amrita played a small part in Awara Paagal Deewana (2002). The film went on to be a hit, and Amrita’s performance as the dominating wife was appreciated by the audience. After Awara Paagal deewana’s success, Amrita Arora got many more offers to play small parts in hero-oriented films.
Her next few films like Ek aur Ek Gyarah (2003), Girlfriend (2004) and Shart (2004) didn’t do well at Box-office. Meanwhile, Her cameo in Zameen (2003) in the song “Dilli ki Sardi…” was one of the most watched music videos in 2003. However, All her further films went unnoticed, Fight Club (2006) and Red (2007) being the biggest flops of them. In 2008, Amrita Arora will be featuring in prominent movies like Golmaal Returns, Hello and Heroes. Amrita Arora is the sister of the famous model and actress Malaika Arora Khan.
