Angels and Demons follows the adventures of Robert Langdon through Vatican where this movie is set. The Pope is dead and the four cardinals go missing. It is Robert who has to find them with the help of a scientist and the Vatican police, before they are killed. In search of them Robert goes through many clues and the streets of Vatican, which make the movie interesting to watch.
The acting skills of Tom Hanks are well known and in this movie he delivers a fine performance making the character even more believable than the first part. Evan McGregor has acted his part with grace which adds to the believability of the movie. The music, the camerawork, all add up beautifully to the story of the movie. The visuals with all the churches are beautiful. All these factors make for a great movie experience.
This movie seems to be better than The Da Vinci Code and all should go and see this move just to enjoy it rather than for any knowledge on secret societies. That can anyway be garnered from the book.
After watching this movie, I hope more of Robert Langdon's books are converted into movies for people like us who do not get time to read his novels.
