  Angshumaner chhobi is simple yet complex, traditional yet atypical. Angshumaner chhobi is a film within the film. Soumitra returned as the old man, played an old man's character to perfection. Its a journey into minds of some common yert eccentric people's. Its an assertion of self belief to genious abilities lacking self confidence.

  Debutant director Atanu Ghosh’s “Angshumaner Chhobi” is not about Angshuman but about the artists who works in his film. The whole thing starts when Angshuman (Indraniel) comes to Kolkata from Italy to make a docu-feature film starrer Pradyot Mukherjee (Soumitra Chatterjee) and Madhura Sen (Indrani Halder). Both the actors have their own dilemmas, so Pradyot Mukherjee has retired himself and Madhura Sen fails to judge her own capabilities.   Atanu Ghosh had shown his skill in story telling while making Tele-Films and I suppose he is one of the best Tele-Film director in Bengali.
  “Angshumaner Chhobi” is his first for the big screen and he has proved that for good story telling size of the screen does not matter. The story and the script of “Angshumaner Chhobi” is also by Atanu Ghosh himself and he has given us a well told story.

  Atanu Ghosh is a known director of Bengali serial. This probably is his first featur film. He has taken utmost care to make it entertaining and watchable and sure he succeeds in achieving it.
  The film revolves around angshuman an aspirant in film direction who went to Italy to learn Film Direction . His dream about making a film in his mother language brought him to kolkata.
