Anjaam is violent but still good. Shah Rukh Khan had first class acting as usual. Madhuri Dixit was excellent. Deepak Tijori was good in his short role.
Anjaam is unforgettable for me if only for the fact that the female character, played excellently by Madhuri Dixit (usually docile, beautiful, present only for the entertainment of men in her other movies) evolves into an almost superhuman avatar of revenge. And when she finds that she has been robbed of her chance to face her greatest enemy as an equal, she cries, but does not weaken in her resolve.
SRK is The BEST; his acting as usual is flawless. Despite his immense success with romantic lead roles (Dil To Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai etc) it would be great to see SRK do more negative roles.
I don't think you have to be a fan of either Shah Rukh or Madhuri to appreciate this unique film... However, one does ponder if their performances were the real pull for this film - I can't imagine anyone else in their place!
Overall first half of the movie was Ok, but in the second half of the movie there is lots of violence and everybody gets killed.
For everyone who likes violence this is the film for them. The film deserves 3.5/5.
