Champ (Arshad Warsi) is a small-time conman in Bangkok, who makes his ends meet by forging passports, photographs and works. One day, he gets arrested and is sentenced a 6-month imprisonment. In jail, Champ meets Raghuvir Sharma ( Raghuveer Yadav ), who pretends to be deaf and dumb to the rest of the world, but not to Champ. That is because, Raghuvir knows Champ can get him out and thus offers him a share of the diamonds he had stolen years ago. Champ agrees happily. After 6 months, Champ manages to get Raghuvir legally out of jail by creating foged documents of his bailment. Then they hide in an interior location, where Raghuvir also meets his long-lost daughter Jia ( Minissha Lamba ). They plan to go back to India, and Champ prepares gorges passports for them, and assigns himself a fake name Anthony Gonsalves. However, Raghuvir gets killed by two hit-men who are actually on a look-out for a certain other Anthony Gonsalves, and since, Champ has attained a same false name, he gets dragged into this matter. Champ and Jia make a deal to get the diamonds back from the Jail compound, the place where Raghuvir had hid the diamonds actually. They fall in love eventually. But before Champ finds his way back to jail, he is traced by contract-killer Master Madan (Sanjay Dutt), who is hired by Lucky Sharma (Chetan Hansraj) who himself is afraid that Champ has a proof about the murder that Lucky committed a few days ago. Meanwhile, ACP Suraj Singh (Gulshan Grover) has taken the charge of the case on law's behalf. Just before Master Madan is about to kill Champ, Champ requests Master Madan to listen to his side of the story. A huge buff of Hindi film tales, Master Madan happily agrees. But will Champ succeed in convincing Master Madan about his innocence? Will he succeed in fetching the diamonds? Will he and Jia get along and be able to return to India?
