Jatin, Rabin, Natrin, Prabir and Mihir were five brothers of the Banerjee family. The amount of the property was huge. Jatin was busy playing chess and managing the huge property, Rabin was a lawyer. Nabin was an engineer and stayed out station, Prabir passed his M.B.B.S. but was busy about his own family health matter than that of patients and the youngest Mihir kept himself busy with music. The five wives of five brothers were Sarada, Latika, Kuntala, Joysree and Manjiri respectively. Though the apparently the Banerjee family seemed like a mental asylum, the family was run properly by the five wives. They smilingly bear the peculiar demands of the five brothers. The senior most was Sarada who treated the other five wives as her sister. Though the family runs by the five wives the five brothers used to boast about their utility, especially Rabin. He believed that they five are the five fingers of a hand and because of that the family was so peaceful. He also believed that if the charge of the family was in the hands of the wives the family will be ruined any day. The wives bear everything smilingly, but there must be limit of everything. The limit crossed in the threat ceremony (Poite) of Nabin's son Kamal. All the brothers invited as many as possible in the ceremony but it was found that when on that day some one was busy with chessboard, some one is busy with eating junk food, some one was busy in analyzing legal things, and some one was busy keeping health of the family. But no one was ready to entertain the guests. Every thing was on mess, the servants got no clue what to do. The problem started on the next day when the five brothers were busy disbarring their efficiency on the ceremony day. The five wives taught the five brothers a good lesson.
