Arjun Kapoor (born 26 June 1985) comes from a well known family associated with Hindi cinemas for decades. He is the grandson of filmmaker Surinder Kapoor. His father is well known Indian film producer, Boney Kapoor, and mother is Late Mona Shourie Kapoor, who's actor Anil Kapoor's sister. He is the first-cousin of actress Sonam Kapoor and producer Rhea Kapoor. He is also the step-son of actress Sridevi. Aditya Chopra signed him up for a three-film contract with Yash Raj Films. Arjun makes his screen debut in Habib Faisal's Ishaqzaade opposite Parineeti Chopra.
Before taking up acting, Kapoor, who's a alumni of Asian Academy of Film and Television (Delhi), was actively involved in the production of his father's films, such as No Entry, Wanted, Milenge Milenge. He also worked as an assistant director in SRK starrer Kal Ho na Ho, and Salman, Anil Kapoor starrer Salaam-E-Ishq.
