After writing the scripts of Krazzy 4 & One Two Three, Ashwini Dhir came up with another comedy film named as ''Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge''. Also after directing his debu film in Krazzy 4, this is his second film in directional department. Though Krazzy 4 was not so appreciated, also was not so entertaining. And same was as in this film. At times the film was so boring, but at times the film does entertain us.

    Story:
Story is very simple, and plus copied, sorry, I mean inspired or adapted from one play. Ajay & Konkana are happily married couple with having a small ... » read more

Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? is a comedy in Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Basu Chatterjee style and not the usual slapstick comedies you see in theaters these days. It's a clean comedy to be enjoyed with your family with a sprinkling of family values and peppered with a little bit of emotion, just enough to get you engrossed in the proceedings.

Puneet (Ajay Devgn) and Munmun (Konkona Sen Sharma) and their 6yr old son, Ayush (Master Ayush Joshi) form a nuclear family in Mumbai. Puneet writes Bollywood scripts, while Munmun is an interior designer. While Puneet is working on a ... » read more

Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? is a movie about a couple (Ajay, Konkana) busy in thier own life and staying with thier son in Mumbai. Initially, they wanted to have some guest for some time and Paresh Rawal enters in thier life in form of a guest. However, as the movie goes, they get irritated by thier guest and want him to go back. They try some tricks to send him back but of no use. At the end of the movie though Paresh Rawal emerged as not thier own relative however, Ajay's family get emotionally attached to him. Paresh Rawal is again in a great form and a reason to watch a ... » read more

Ashwani Dhir tries to make a two-hour comedy out of a one-line situation. There’s nothing fresh about Dhir’s film, which employs tired characters and even more tiresome clichés. Still he adheres to simplicity in treatment and saves the film from getting pretentious. He manages to infuse some fun into this, including a track about a B-grade film being funded by a bhai. There's also a lovely moment when Chachaji sings a bhajan set to the tune of the chartbusting item number Beedi Jalaile. Smart spoofs on songs like ‘ Beedi Jalaile ’ and ‘ Na Jaane Tum Kab Aaoge ’ maintain ... » read more

Dheer has a stellar cast of three national award winning actors but he doesn't give those sparkling lines or substantial moments. Still everybody has done fairly good job.

Paresh Rawal, of late, has been getting artificial in his comic act but this is a character that gets the best of him. He is in amazing form and doesn’t exert much or exaggerate himself, staying within his character. As the atithi, he is so convincing that you almost want to get into the screen and toss him out of the nice couple's house. Look out for him in the bhajan sequence done on the track ... » read more

Till early 90’s we use to have films which use to be light entertainer with good usage of family drama. On one side we had directors like Vimal Kumar, T Rama Rao,etc who use to make such films but with more on drama and total dash of masala films. And on other side there were makers like Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Basu Chatterjee who use to add more humor and simplicity and score over all others. Slowly the humor started to get vulgar and simplicity lost its way. There were few directors who use to pop out once in a time, but then were majorly let down by the audience whose ... » read more

True kinship is not born of blood but of warmth. This may be the long and the short of the movie "Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?
Puneet(Ajay Devgan)is a struggling film writer, labouring with his latest write-up over the life of some under-ground don. His wife Moonmoon ( Kankona Sen Sharma) is an interior designer tormented in the office by the authority. The couple is blessed with their six-year old son, who cuts sorry figure in Hindi at school. The nuclear family, however, enjoys a smooth sail . The prelude to the climax comes as a hint, when the Hindi-teacher of the kid's ... » read more
