The Maharaja of Suryagad is killed by Sujan Singh. Sarju, his queen and Rajkumar are saved from the attackers by Sher Khan, a faithful soldier of the Maharaja but the child is kept by them temporarily in a temple. Later he is found by a Sardar and his wife who bring him up as their own son.

The Maharani, Sher Khan and their loyal followers live in the forest and hope to see their Rajkumar come back to the kingdom. Rajkumar grows up as a Sardar and Sujan Singh's son Vikram Singh becomes the king after the death of Sujan Singh. Vikram Singh commits atrocities in his rule and his sister Padmavati is chained and kept in the palace. Vikram Singh orders Amar to be stamped to death by an elephant (Moti). But the elephant recognises Amar as his childhood friend and helps him to fight and escape from there. Seeing the elephant coming near Amar, the Rajkumari freezes in shock and does not talk to anybody. Amar comes as a Fakir and cures her.

Vikram Singh comes to know that that Fakir is Amar, and so he shoots at Amar who falls into a river and is rescued by Sher Khan and the Maharani's men. They see the Royal Armlet tied in his arm is told by Amar that the same was with him since he was found by Sardar and wife, as told to him by his mother. They realise that Amar is the real Rajkumar.
