Ananda has been betrayed by a girl whom he loved a lot. The girl left him to get married to a richer man. The pain of separation makes Ananda an alcoholic and he no longer believes in love. He now buys love with money and goes to prostitutes. One such prostitute he buys is Urvashi, whom he takes to a hotel where he meets his friend Deb, who also wants to spend the night with Urvashi . Ananda is once invited to his uncles place and his uncle mistakes Urvashi to be Ananda's wife. His uncle treats Urvashi like his own daughter, whom he had lost when she was a little girl. He showers her with gifts and slowly the whole family likes Urvashi. However Urvashi feels guilty about this and finally she tells his uncle everything. Ananda's uncle is glad that she has had the courage to tell the truth and tells her to seek help from Ananda so that she can lead a better life. Ananda and Urvashi go back to the hotel. Deb again insists on spending a night with Urvashi but she resists him. Slowly Ananda and Urvashi fall in love and decide to get married. However Deb comes into the picture again and creates misunderstandings between the couple and the wedding is called off. Ananda's uncle intervenes and all misunderstandings are sorted out. Deb confesses and Ananda and Urvashi are together again.
