?Baishe Srabon relies heavily on the cat & mouse premise it sets for itself. But as it progresses you realize the two are almost always stuck in a vicious circular chase. The co-existence of good & evil rooted deep inside the human heart. What takes off as another whodunit changes tracks to become the race to psychological degradation of two ingenious minds fallen prey to customary societal hypocrisy. Some fine editing, & an insanely well written protagonist never really let the pace drop. What I missed majorly is the silence associated with desolation & abandonment, the pain of being forgotten even in death. And violence that leaves a residual compulsive uneasiness, cramped in the darkness of the theater room.
But, Prosenjit Chatterjee.. Industry!
