    Flop Babu!

At first I thought this film would be a remake of the famous Devanand’s film which has the same title as “Bambai Ka Babu”, and I was so irritated that Director Vikram Bhatt has chosen to remake some low grade hindi films with some Ok star cast, Saif was also Ok as he was growing that time. But after watching the film, I was wrong. The film has a total different story but the outcome was true. It is a totally low grade hindi film which can be obviously skipped.

Born and brought up in a small village, Vikram (Saif) alias Vicky comes to Bombay - the big city - to find his fortune. He wants to get rich soon, and he does get lucky when he lands a job with a politician named Masterji (Dilip Tahil). Masterji starts him off with petty crime, just to ensure his capabilities. Through his hard work and dedication Vicky wins the respect of Masterji and his colleagues. Then Vicky is entrusted with a task of subdueing Masterji's rival, Jaya Shetty (Vishwajeet Pradhan), which Vicky does. Then instead of disposing of Jaya, he is asked to make friends with him, so as to benefit Masterji, and he does so. But when he overhears Masterji and Jaya of inciting communal violence, he decides to sabotage their plans. Angered at this, Masterji orders the death of Vicky at any cost. Vicky has nowhere to turn to, except to live in fear for the rest of his life, as sooner or later Jaya and Masterji's men will track him down.

I guess majority which Saif, as well as Kajol, had signed films were totally a disaster, especially in 90’s era.

Anyways, this film can obviously skipped no matter there was a Saif, Kajol and the famous director Vikram bhatt was there.
