    Kishen (Rajesh Khanna) is the son of a wealthyh man (Om Prakash) and is in a medical college. He gets attracted to one of his fellow class-mates Madhu(Hema Malini) who is beautiful, smart & intelligent. Everything goes well until KK-Kapil Kumar (Danny Dengzongpa) kills Madhu. Kishan now decides to relocate to a remote area & start a dispensary in the same village. There he meets Madhu's sister Chanchal (Hema Malini) who is illiterate & stays with her blind mother (Nalini Jaywant). After knowing the truth,Chanchal decides to help Kishan in his medical work. Brij Mohan (Om Shivpuri) is in need of Rs.5 crores about which only KK knows. He fires a bullet on KK's hand, but he runs away. On the request of Chanda(Tanuja) KK's wife, Kishan saves KK's life despite knowing that he is Madhu's killer. But Kapil loses one hand in this operation. Brij Mohan also revelas the fact that KK is none other than Kishan's real brother. This stuns KK, but Brij Mohan has already kidnapped some people in order to get the money. He also uses special atom bombs for his work. KK tells Kishan the address where he has hidden the suitcase full of money. Kishan with an atom bomb goes on the mission. Will he succeed in saving his & everyone else's life? If yes, how?
