Bengal is going through it’s worst turbulent times when in the political arena, the two main parties are at each other’s throats and will do anything to woo people to get their votes. There are also seeds of corruption and negligence in every other sphere of life be it the administration (over here we mean the police), healthcare and every other sphere which is the part of the common man’s day to day life.

Ashutosh, a young man comes to the city to get his mother treated for an ailment. He sees wrongdoings everywhere and tries to change the system in every sphere of life. He becomes a known figure. A journalist, Mondira one day creates a character called Aladin who, disgusted with the happenings in our state would commit suicide on 15th Aug.She also later on comes out with a brainwave where she forces Ashutosh to become Aladin in exchange of Rs 4-5L needed for his mother’ s treatment. Though he is against it initially, he is forced to do it thinking of his mother. After he speaks to the people live on TV one day, the people think him to be a messiah. He is shocked at the response of the people and wants to run away from it all, but something prevents him from doing so. The opposition also wants to use him as their trump card and so does Palash, the owner of the TV channel where Mondira works. What happens next remains to be seen.
