Barah Aana is a very different take on the society at large. It is not pretentious nor does it try to preach you. It is a simple movie of three people coming from completely different backgrounds of life. A waiter(Arjun Mathur), A Driver (Naseeruddin Shah) and A watchman (Vijay Raaz). The story of the movie is not so different than any other off-beat bollywood movie, but the direction impresses. The laughters never miss their slots. The pace of the movie is apt and well poised with the life stories of 3 men (who happen to share a room). The screenplay is intelligent and leaves an impact.
Acting wise, Vijay Raaz takes away the applauds, as Naseer strangely isn't explored at all.
Overall, surely worth a watch if you need some light hearted entertainment with a touch of class direction. » read more

We also have something in between called as different films, films which have messages also with entertainment in backdrop. 'Barah Aana' joins the latter types but wit more simplicity.

'Barah Aana' is story of three friends-Shukla [Naseerudin Shah] a driver, Yadav [Vijay Raaz] a Watchman and Aman[Arjun] a waiter. All of them are going through their normal routine in life and suddenly an incident happens ... » read more
