    In a little village named Koyaldighi, Kanchan, the son of the local school’s headmaster, creates his reign of terror among his friends and villagers. His father punishes him constantly. Kanchans biggest dream is to visit Calcutta and earn a lot for his mother. One day he manages to run away and reaches the city of his dreams - Calcutta. But soon this little boy’s dreams are broken. Differences between his dreams and realities becomes bigger. He finds Calcutta to be a city of contradictions with the refugees searching for shelters on one side and on the other side, rich and elite Calcuttan’s amusements and joyful life.
