Chandramohan Sharma (Shatrughan Sinha) is a honest inspector who admires commissioner Kumar Anand (Sanjeev Kumar). Kumar was in love with Maya (Mala Sinha), but for some reason Maya had asked him to go away from her life. A heart broken Kumar leaves her but cannot forget her.
