“Bhalobasa Bhalobasa” is a fresh romantic film. The story of this film revolves round a successful businessman Arobindo Sen (Sabyasachi Chakraborty) who is an extra caring father and his family, His son Siddhartha or Sidhu (Hiran Chatterjee) is fed up with his father’s attitude and wants to choose his profession and life partner according to his own wish. One day he meets Priya (Srabanti) at a temple and falls in love with her. But Arobindo has already fixed Sidhu’s marriage with one of his friend’s daughter Manashi, who is also her father’s girl. After Arobindo comes to know about Sidhu’s love life, he then and there refuses to accept their relation as he does not know her. Sidhu proposes that Priya may come to their house for 7 days, so that his family members can know her. With the help of a professor (Kharaj Mukherjee) of their college they become successful in befooling Priya’s father and ultimately she comes to Sidhu’s house. No one welcome her. But slowly she gets closer with Sidhu’s mother (Laboni Sarkar); sister (Kamalika Banerjee), sister-in-law (Locket Chatterjee) and their servant Satyada (Subhashis Mukherjee) .But knowingly she creates a lot of problem for Sidhu at his own house hence differences arise between them. At the end of the seventh day before any decision can be made, Priya declares she doesn’t want to marry Sidhu any more as he has changed. Priya gets her home back sadly and seeks apology from her father. When Arobindo tries to finalize Sidhu and Manashi’s marriage both mother and son rebel against him and thus ultimately make him understand that every family member has their wish which they can never think of fulfilling please their father. Arobindo ultimately agrees to accept Priya as his daughter-in-law instead of Manashi. Eventually Priya’s father denies to accept Sidhu as his son-in-law. But Arobindo agrees to send his son for a 7 days training to Priya’s father and ultimately he also agrees. And thus the movie reaches its happy ending.
