Bhollu Sardar narrates the story of a child Bhollu (Priyangshu) who wants to become a good-at-heart bandit who, like a modern-day Robin Hood, would steal money from the rich and donate it to the poor. He embarks on a quest to find wicked people (Naradhams) and bring them to justice.
But it is the tale of his depressed aunt and his worldly detached uncle that captures his attention. The rest of the film deals with how ‘Bhallu’ brings happiness into the lives of his uncle and aunt.
The background score has been composed by Pt. Tanmay Basu and the music director is Sanjay Mukherjee. The film edited by Supriyo Saha.
