    Horror films is a genre of films which Tollywood in recent times at least is not capable of handling and a few films made in the recent past have all been miserable both by way of content and box office revenue. In fact Tollywood horror films amuse people and evoke laughter out of them rather than frighten them. Such are the films.

    The ‘Bhoot of Rose Ville’ of Rose Ville is no better. Made by Sanghamitra Chaudhuri, known for her extremely unusual terrible films, she lives up to her reputation with this film as well. This film is based on a true story.

    Do You Know who is Shanghamitra Chowdhury? If you don’t know, lend me your ears. She is a film director and her latest Bengali film is “The Bhoot of Rose Ville”. Only she knows why the word “Bhoot” in the title is only in Bengali. Probably she was in doubt whether the word “Ghost” would be quite clear enough for her audience to understand the genre of her film “Bhooter Cinema”.
