Since when has the name of a film been as appropriate as it’s content in recent times? ‘Bhulbhal’ is the most perfect example of that.A film with a ridiculous storyline and a very low budget which is absolute trashy. On top of that the film had it’s premiere at a theatre where people with literally no budgets have their premieres at least when it comes to commercial films.
Just imagine! Two guys Amit and Phatik land up in the city from a village. Amit is a M.B.A, yet he is absolutely dumb! They are helped by their friend Pradip who helps them to set up a business as they fail to land a job. Their business becomes to track missing people. They get money (lakhs of rupees) and just keep it in their house. They achieve success in their business. A policeman who helps them in this film wears earrings!
Phatik loves Beauty, an actress and the daughter of a film producer, but she loves Rahul.Phatik thinks she loves him too, but a girl named Anamika enters Phatik’s life .He understands that Beauty doesn’t love him and he turns all his attention to Anamika and decides to marry her. In the meantime, a lot of incidents occur side by side. There are so many subplots you will get confused after a while. There are several unnecessary songs. There is no continuity and the editing is extremely poor. The performances of the entire cast including Sudip Mukherjee is terrible barring the Nikita who plays Sweety. There is one big unending sequence in the beginning where the three friends are having a drunken conversation! It is such a torture! In fact the whole film is a big torture! Sushanta gets more footage as a hero than Angshuman who is a more familiar face.A line from the title track seems to be a direct lift from the new 'Golmal'.The music is rubbish and most of the background music is completely uncalled for!
Wondering why????????He turns out to be the director cum producer of the film!Aargh!
