An outspoken upright middle class was trying to fight with the hostile situations of middle class life in her own way. The elder son of a rich industrialist Partho fell in love with her. Patho's family however had other plans. Swati was trying to adapt the life style of her husband's family, but everything seemed to go horribly wrong. On the festive day of holi, Partho's younger brother Praveen and his three friends raped Munni, the innocent housemaid of their family. Swati was witness to the whole event. She had tried to resist but had failed. Later she realised that Munni was being subjected to injustice and gross violation of human rights. Her health condition was deteriorating day by day. Swati gave her statement to the police about what had happened on that fateful day. The police offiicials started extracting more bribes from the rich Ray, Sarbagya and Choudhury. The lawyer Samanta made an attempt of Partho's marriage with Liza, Choudhury's only daughter, as Partho's parents had decided earlier after proving Swati insane in the court. The lawyer succeeded in his satanic plans and ordered the culprits to kill her in the mental asylum. Swati's husband did not know about this conspiracy. Swati fled from the mental hospital and when the goons were chasing her she was rescued by a samaritan. She got to know that this man was a lawyer Vikram Sinha Roy who had stopped going to court after he had lost the case of his wife's murder to Samanta Roy. Swati requested him to take up her case. The mysterious death of Munni made Partho understand that his wife was gong to be sacrificed by his father. He took his wife's side. The simple middle class lady rebelled against the goons. The guilty were appropriately brought to justice.
