On 18th February, 1486 a child was born in Mayapur. As he was born under a Margosa (nim) tree, the child was named 'Nimai'. Nimai was very restless is his childhood. Entire Nabadwip was panic-stricken by his mischiefs. But proving everybody wrong Nimai became the most learned and knowledgeable person of Nabadwip. His mother Sachidebi married him to Bishnupriya, daughter of the court scholar Sanatan Mishra. Though Nimai was unwilling to the marriage, he didnt want to hurt his mother so he got married. After marriage Nimai asked his wife what would happen if one day for the sake of the universe and mass education he had to leave her. Smilingly Bishnupriya replied he could do anything he wished. So one day Nimai accepted "sannyas" and left home. When the entire people of Nabadwip was grief - stricken only Bishupriya remaind cool. She told her friend Kanchana to pray and chant the name of "Gouranga". Nimai started travelling and preaching the religion of love. That religion had no caste barrier, religion barrier, or narrow regional barrier. Five years passed. Nimai transformed to Chaitanya. He came back to visit his birthplace. He met his mother and the other members. When he was about to leave Bishnupriya came and stood before him. She enquired whether she had anything to offer him. Chaitanya replied her to pray and worship lord Krishna.
