Good, Bad And Ugly under the blue is a vain projeect that , literally, vanishes into the blue. Three persons endevouring to unearth the grand treasury dormant underneath the Pacific could have been a hair-raising thriller, had Anthony D'souza been wiser in focusing the marine -mystery in more meticulous enterprise. The treasury coveted by Kuber (Akhsay kumar) becomes the bone of contention . Sanjay Dutt who is believed to navigate the under-water-course to trace the treasury is persistantly persued by Kuber, and the errant-brother of Sanjay, falling in trouble in realising the huge sum of Rahul Dev, the villain, is a got-up conceptualisation, which would pave the circusntances to take the risky enterprise. The under-water stunts have been outdone by the surface tension, as there are three sequences of motor-bike chase and physical hurry-scurry, dominated by Zayed Khan. Everything in the film is a foregone conclusion. Hence, there is nothing to meet abrupt. The tricky camera has meticulously followed the curves of Lara Dutta, without whom the movie could have been made . Sanjay Dutt appears without his vibrancy and vivacity with added calories as hindrances. Kabir Bedi emerges in the beginning to immerse in the finale, even without a grunt.
Katrina is a catalyst to effect unnecessary pomps.
Who says the movie is Hollywood style / It is very much oriental with our implied myths vivid. As in many movies we have seen snakes safegurding treasury held in the secret vault of Lord Siva, likewise, in this movie too, a school of sharks can be seen epicircling the treasury in the sunk ship.
