The rights to make a hindi film out of the novel "Bombaiyer Bombatay" ( The Bombay Bandits) is sold by the famous suspense writer Jatayu, (Bhibu Bhattacharya). The evergreen writer invites Pradosh Mitter alias Feluda (Sabyasachi Chakraborty), the private detective & his young school going cousin Tapesh Ranjan Mitter alias Topshe (Parambrata) to watch the entire shooting in Mumbai. They mystery starts just before their departure. A producer, Mtr. Sanyal comes to Lalmohan Babu (Jatayu) to buy the rights of the same book to make a Bengali film. He comes under total make-up, he is actually Mr.Gore (Ashish Vidyarthi) the villan, an imposter who asks the simple Jatayu to deliver a packet containing the book "Life Divine" which is actually the container of the immensly precious Nawab's necklace. Gore alias Sanyal tells Jatayu that the book packet would be received at the airport by one of his relatives (actually one of his gang men, Rajatava Dutta). Hell breaks down when the man who picks up the packet eventually finds out that he has got the wrong packet. Jatayu accidentally gives the man his own copy of ' Bambaiyer Bombatay ' while the book ' Life Divine ' containing the invaluable necklace remains in his bag. Naturally Mr.Gore & his entire crew run after Jatayu to rescue the book. In the meanwhile one of Gore's aliases commit's a murder inside the lift of Shivaji castle. From this point, the plot of this thriller begins to brew. But with Feluda in the ranks & with the honest help of local cop Mr.Patwardhan (Anjan Srivastava) the enitre gang is caught redhanded & arrested in a dramatic train sequence. Mr.Gore coincidentally was the producer of the film which was being shot. After Feluda revealed Mr.Gore's secret identity (that of a smuggler's) the film shooting gotesto a standstill, but the entire cast of the film including Victor Permual (Rajesh Sharma), Pulak Ghoshal, Micky (the man depicting the villan) & others applauded the undefeatable Prodosh Mitter for saving the nation's property & blunge the attack of the evil once again.
