This is a story of two empires, Bharatpur and Rampur. The king of Bharatpur, Raja Projohar Singh, had two wives. Raja Projohar Singh's younger brother was Vikram Singh. His son was Kanchan Singh (Amjed Khan). Raja Projohar Singh's elder queen was once kidnapped by Vikram Singh diplomatically because she was about to give birth to Raja Projohan Singh's child. He was afraid that if she gives birth to the kings child then their child would become the next king of the empire. But somehow she escapes and takes shelter in a temple and gives birth to the child Bhola (Uttam Kumar). But after few year Vikram Singh comes to know about her and he goes to the remple and kills her but her son escapes and runs away. But when his mother was killed he notices the cutmarks on the killers back and a missing toe. On the other hand, Raja Projohan Singh's younger queen also gives birth to their child Uday (Uttam Kumar). Vikram Singh kidnaps their child imprisons him. Sulakshana Pandit (Radha) was the princess of Rampur. One day the Senapati of Bharatpur notices Bhola in a village and takes him to his empire because of his resemblance with Uday. They want Bhola to act as the king of Bharatpur empire till Uday comes back. At first, Bhola refused to be a part of it but later when he saw Vikram Singh he agreed to play the game. One day he sees Radha and they fall in love with each other. Bhola recognised Vikram Singh through the cut mark on his back. He decides to take revenge of his mother's murder. He reached to the place (Bijoygarh) where they had imprisoned Uday. Bhola was also unaware of the fact that he was the elder son of Raja Projohar Singh. But when the senapati and dewan of Bharatpur empire saw the necklace in Bhola's hand which belonged to their Maharani, they came to know that he was the elder son of Raja Projohar Singh. At last Bhola reaches his ultimate destination and saves Uday from the control of Vikram Singh. Bhola leaves the empire in the control of Uday and goes away. Radha also leaves everything and goes away with Bhola.
