J.P. Dutta, whose 1997 movie Border was a super-hit, has once again cast Sunny Deol in the lead for the film’s sequel. "We are very happy that Sunny is doing Border 2 and the official announcement will be made once we finalise the rest of the star-cast,” an official spokesperson of the filmmaker stated.

Border synopsis (Story)
Border revolves around the India and Pakistan war. The Indian battalion is posted in Longewala region in Punjab. The battalion just has around 150 people while the Pakistani Army consists of 2000 armed soldiers with tanks and seems to be powerful. Indian soldiers fight till death to win.

Mind Blowing, A-mazing, Spectacular, can be watch 100times till date. I guess no other movie I have seen yet that can be compared with this movie. J p Dutta has rock the nation by making this film. Each and every character, their performance, Remarkable. Specially, Sunny Deol and Suneel Shetty was in the hot news. The story the content, Out –Standing. J. P. Dutta's brother was an Indian Air Force pilot who died in a MiG crash in 1987, the film is dedicated to him. While making the film, Dutta referred to diaries he had written at the time about his brothers experiences.
The film was shot on location in the desert near Bikaner where the set for the Longewala Border Security Post was put up atop a sand dune for the Indian Army portion of the film and also in Jaisalmer where the Indian Air Force portion was shot. The equipment, ammunition and weapons were all actual Indian Army equipment that were used by the Filmmakers.
