It's not a very smart movie and the dialog is quite simple, but it worked great as a family movie: the kids liked the plot and followed it quite all the time without need of much explaining. Your kids are going to love this movie. Spying and flying dogs, cats and birds, working together to take down one seriously disturbed kitty -- what's not for them to love?
There was no need for this movie to be in 3-D. This is starting to become irksome. Theaters charge more for 3-D movies, which I'm happy to pay, when it is worthwhile. But in this one, watch it in 2D and save your money.
The plot involving a neglected cat aka Kitty Galore, that it is so silly and ridiculous. She turns rogue and decides to take it out on humans since she was neglected by her human owners after she lost her fur in an accident while being chased by a guard dog. So she collects computer parts and starts making a device to turn dogs into some crazy animals which will force humans to put them in cages and then she and her cat minions will enslave mankind. Diggs, a disobedient police dog who is recruited into Dog HQ and assigned on an important mission to take down the evil Kitty Galore. It is now up to Diggs, as well as field agent Butch, cat agent Catherine and annoying cum funny pigeon Seamus, to stop Kitty from her evil plans.
All in all an excellent family film that will have kids enjoying themselves and enough stuff to keeps the parents entertained.
